- COVID-19, also called SARS-CoV-2, is a virus that can spread through contact with an infected person within a distance of 6 feet. It is a predominantly respiratory illness that can affect other organs.
- The Moderna vaccine uses mRNA to teach our cells how to make a protein that will trigger an immune response that may prevent COVID-19 infection and is recommended to those 18 years or older. The vaccine is administered in a series of two doses (0.5mL) one month apart.
- Side effects may include: swelling or redness at site of injection, chills, tiredness, and/or headache.
- Influenza, also called the flu, is a common seasonal disease that affects the respiratory system and can cause mild to severe illnesses, with varying degrees of risk depending on age, pre existing medical conditions, pregnancy, etc.

Hepatitis:
Hepatitis A (Havrix)

Hepatitis A is a serious disease that affects the liver and is typically transmitted through close physical or sexual contact with an infected person or through consumption of contaminated food or water.
Those recommended to receive the Hepatitis A vaccine include, but are not limited to: children at least one year of age, individuals traveling internationally, men who have sex with men, people with chronic liver disease, and any person wanting to receive protection from the Hepatitis A virus.
Side effects may include: soreness or redness at site of injection, tiredness, fever, loss of appetite, and/or headache.
Hepatitis B (Engerix-B)

Hepatitis B is a serious disease that affects the liver and is typically transmitted through sexual contact with an infected person or through exposure to the blood, semen, or other bodily fluids of an individual infected with the Hepatitis B virus.
Those recommended to receive the Hepatitis B vaccine include, but are not limited to: babies and children of all ages, people at risk of infection through sexual exposure, people at risk of infection through exposure to blood, people with chronic liver disease, and any person wanting to receive protection from the Hepatitis B virus.

Hepatitis A and B (Twinrix)

Twinrix vaccine protects individuals against the Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B viruses and is recommended for any person 18 years of age or older.

Human Papilloma Virus (Gardasil 9)

- HPV is a common infection that is caused by direct sexual contact to the mouth, throat, or genital areas and can cause serious health problems that includes warts and oropharyngeal cancer.
- Those ages 11-26 years old are recommended to receive the HPV vaccine and dosage will vary depending on the age range. Please contact your doctor if you are 26 years or older and would like to receive the HPV vaccine.

Meningococcal Disease (Menactra)

- Meningococcal disease is a serious illness that can lead to meningitis or bloodstream infection and have lifelong complications such as deafness, brain damage, nervous system problems, or loss of limb(s). The disease is spread through respiratory and throat secretions during close or prolonged physical contact.
- Those ages 11-12 years old are recommended to receive the Menactra vaccine along with a booster shot at 16 years old. Please contact your doctor if you or your child is outside of that age range and would like to receive the vaccine.

Pneumococcal Disease:
Prevnar 13® (PCV13)

- Those recommended to receive the Prevnar 13® vaccine include, but are not limited to: children younger than 2 years old, people 2 years or older with certain medical conditions, and adults 65 years or older at the advisory of their doctor.

Shingles (Shingrix)

Shingles is a viral infection that causes a painful rash that typically develops on one side of the body, usually on the face or the torso. The most common complication of shingles is postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), which affects nerve fibers and skin and causes long-lasting burning pain even after the physical symptoms of shingles disappear.
Two doses of Shingrix, two to six months apart, are recommended to healthy adults 50 years or older that have had shingles or have received Zostavax.

Tdap (Boostrix)

The vaccine protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough which can cause a number of complications if left untreated. Tetanus can cause spasms, breathing problems, and/or painful muscle stiffness all over the body. Diphtheria creates a thick coating in the back of the throat that can make it difficult to breathe and swallow and in serious cases, paralysis or heart failure. Whooping cough causes prolonged coughing fits and can make it difficult to breathe.
The Tdap vaccine is recommended for people of all ages. For dosage recommendation, please contact your primary care physician.

Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)

The vaccine protects against measles, mumps, and rubella which can cause serious complications if left untreated. Measles causes fever, rash, cough, and runny nose, and complications can include ear infection, diarrhea, and pneumonia. Mumps causes fever, headache, muscle aches, tiredness, and loss of appetite, and complications can include testicular or ovarian swelling, deafness, inflammation of the brain and/or the tissue covering the brain and spinal cord. Rubella causes fever, sore throat, rash, headache, and red, itchy eyes.
Two doses of the MMR vaccine is recommended for all children with the first dose starting at 12-15 months old and the second dose at 4-6 years old. Any person without previous evidence of immunity is also eligible to receive the vaccine.
Side effects may include: soreness, redness, or rash at the site of injection, fever, headache, dizziness, nausea, or swelling of cheek or neck glands.

- Short Description:
- PrEP is recommended to those who are at risk for HIV through vaginal sex, anal sex, or injection drug use. Adolescents without HIV and weigh at least 75 pounds are also eligible to take PrEP as needed.
